Plot

When Billy gets a “B” on a test instead of his usual “A,” he fears he will not make The Young Scientist Club of America. This time Rita decides to give the Rangers a “B” of her own–the “Grumble Bee,” a nasty monster that shoots poisonous venom and has lethal stingers. Billy must sacrifice his studies to battle the monster with Trini, while his fellow rangers (Jason, Kimberly and Zack) are being held prisoner by Goldar. Alpha manages to free Jason, Kimberly and Zack, and together with Billy and Trini, they use megazord power to defeat the Grumble Bee. In the end, Billy gets an “A” on his exam, thanks to hard studying, and gets into The Young Scientist Club.
