Mikey was a regular at the Youth Center where he had once witnessed Zack perform a magic show. However, his mood turned sour when Bulk refused to bring Zack back after making him disappear. Thankfully, Zack was eventually returned to the center, but not before Mikey had lost hope in ever seeing his friend again.

Despite the setback, Mikey’s black rubber ball would play a crucial role in Zack’s eventual victory against Peckster. Inspired by Mikey’s ball, Zack devised a clever plan to trick Peckster into getting his beak stuck in a ball. Mikey was confident that the Rangers would come up with a clever plan to defeat Peckster, and he was right.

During the battle, Zack held Mikey’s black inflated rubber ball in his hand while looking at some balloons, and suddenly, he had an epiphany. He exclaimed, “That’s it!” right next to Mikey, who watched in amazement as Zack left to join the other Rangers.

The Rangers’ trick against Peckster involved having him try to peck several balloons, which were actually a decoy, leading Peckster to stick his beak into the black rubber ball. The clever tactic was shown on the media, and Mikey, along with other kids at the Youth Center, watched in awe.

After the battle, Mikey expressed his admiration for the Black Ranger’s ingenuity in using his mind before his fists. He noted this to Angela, pleased that his friend’s ball had played a part in the Rangers’ victory.
