The Battlizer was introduced to Andros by the Phantom Ranger, who gave him a security disc to activate the device. Once Andros inserted the disc into the Delta Megaship’s control room, a female voice announced, “Delta Megaship ready for Battlizer command.” Familiar with the Battlizer, Andros summoned it with enthusiasm. The device appeared on Andros’s morphed right wrist from red light and lines, featuring a gold rectangle emblem and a gold triangle below it.

Command and Communication Functions

The Battlizer serves multiple purposes beyond combat. Andros can communicate with the Delta Megaship and issue verbal commands through the Battlizer. This capability was demonstrated when Andros spoke into the Battlizer to tell his team that he was on his way, prompting the Delta Megaship to engage its rear boosters. This integration of voice command with the Delta Megaship showcases the advanced technology embedded in the Battlizer.

Control of the Delta Megazord

One of the primary functions of the Battlizer is to control the Delta Megazord. When Astronema turned the Delta Megazord evil using the Evilyzer, Andros utilized the Battlizer to counteract this effect. By entering a sequence on the Astro Megashuttle’s keyboard, Andros flipped it over to reveal a control port for the Battlizer. Detaching the device from his wrist, he plugged it into the port, generating an energy beam to combat the influence of the Dark Fortress. The Battlizer significantly boosts the Red Ranger’s combat capabilities. By pressing specific buttons on the Battlizer, Andros can perform various powerful attacks.
