Appearance and Abilities
The Genie had a distinctive appearance, combining traditional elements of a genie with a twist. He wore colorful, flowing pants and a vest, with a unique helmet-like headpiece.
Upon being released from his lamp, the Genie demonstrated a variety of abilities. He could make spears fly out from behind his back and shoot webbing from his fingertips, which he used to ensnare and attack his opponents. When transformed into a giant, the Genie wielded a staff with a drill at the end, which could be spun using a wheel handle.
Goldar devised a plan to send the Genie to Earth inside his lamp, thus avoiding detection by Zordon. After Squatt and Baboo dropped the lamp, the Genie emerged and began his assault. The Genie’s power was closely tied to his magic lamp, which served as his primary source of strength. Understanding this, Alpha worked from the Command Center to find a way to neutralize the Genie. Using the Command Center’s teleporter, Alpha generated white energy to dissolve the magic lamp. As the lamp dissolved, the Genie’s power waned, and he vanished in white energy.
