Power Bucket

The Power Bucket was a device used by the Red Ranger and Ninjor to reverse the effects of the Centiback’s football spell.

When the Centiback monster transformed five of the Rangers into inanimate footballs, Rocky found himself as the last line of defence against Rita and Zedd.

Upon retreating to the Command Center, Rocky conferred with Alpha to determine a new plan of attack. Rocky realised that since the Centiback’s football was omitting an energy wave, it would be the key to undoing the Ranger’s transformation. Rocky proposed that they may be able to reverse the spell by turning the transforming beam upside down and backwards, inverting the football’s energy waves to cancel the spell.  

Having a ball

Alpha provided two devices that could be used to reverse the energy fields. These devices appears on the floor of the Command Center in the form of large purple plastic buckets with blue handles and green tubing and wiring connected to them.

Rocky and Ninjor took the devices into battle against the Centiback monster, goading him into throwing his transforming football. Armed with the buckets, Rocky and Ninjor were able to catch the football as it was thrown and then redirect it towards the transformed Rangers.

When the Centiback’s football hit the Ranger footballs, it transformed them back into their normal human forms. [MMPR3: “Fourth Down and Long“]
