Dramole

Dramole had a reptilian appearance with a robust, armored body. His notable abilities included:

• Hypnotic Gas: Dramole could produce a gas that had hypnotic effects, capable of putting people under Rita’s control.
• Underground Travel: He could move underground undetected, allowing for surprise attacks.
• Energy Bolts: In his giant form, Dramole could fire red and yellow energy bolts from his eyes.
• Sky Darkening: His gas had the effect of darkening the sky, creating an ominous and disorienting environment.

Dramole first made his presence felt at the Youth Center during Parent’s Day. He filled the center with his hypnotic gas, which teleported everyone into the Dark Dimension with black and white x-ray effects, turning them into zombie-like trances. His gas even put Billy under Rita’s control, creating a thin white crackle of electricity across his forehead.

When Dramole sprayed the Rangers with his gas, it turned the sky dark, disorienting them. However, Green Ranger managed to douse the area with red energy rays from above, brightening the sky and freeing the Rangers from Dramole’s spell.

In the climactic battle, Dramole grew to a giant size and used his gas to darken the sky once again. He also fired red and yellow energy bolts from his eyes to attack the Rangers. Despite his  abilities, the Ultrazord blasts ultimately destroyed giant Dramole, freeing the captured parents and students, who had no memory of the capture.

Dramole reappeared in various subsequent encounters:

• Guarding the Rock of Time: Zordon mentioned that the Rock of Time was guarded by Zedd’s most powerful monsters, including Dramole. Billy’s Power Lance caused Dramole to fall over and vanish.
• Recreation by Finster: Finster recreated Dramole as one of the meanest monsters to capture the Rangers. Dramole, now apparently able to speak, joined in a taunting song with other monsters.
• Rita and Zedd’s Wedding: Dramole attended Rita and Zedd’s wedding, highlighting his continued involvement in their schemes.
• Final Battle: In another battle, giant Dramole fought the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord. His mist made the Thunder Megazord spark, but the Megazord blew its own mist from its hands, knocking Dramole over. The Thunder Saber ultimately destroyed giant Dramole.
