Goatan, also known as Goatan the Storm-Bringer, was a monster with the ability to control the weather and create devastating storms.

Rita used a specific incantation to turn the Noble Lion trophy into Goatan: “Scabs, weasels, moons of Cryon, make me a monster, half goat, half lion!” This transformation caused the ground to quake, signaling the arrival of Goatan.

Goatan had a unique and fearsome appearance, combining features of a lion and a goat. His body was a blend of these two creatures, with a lion’s head and a goat’s head on his stomach, as well as a green lizard-like tail. Key abilities included:

• Weather Control: Goatan could create blizzards, tornadoes, and hurricanes, utilizing these weather phenomena to cause widespread destruction.
• Energy Lines: The lion head on his chest could blow orange energy lines that acted like wind.
• Red Eyebeams: Goatan could shoot red eyebeams from his lion head.
• Red Tornado: The goat head on his stomach could blow a red tornado from its mouth, which could envelop and disorient the Rangers.
• Icy Wind: In his giant form, the goat mouth could blow an icy wind, covering the Megazord in a thick layer of snow.
• Physical Strength: Goatan had the strength to wield a huge log as a club and could bat aside arrows from Kim’s Power Bow.
• Black Bow: He wielded a black archer’s bow in battle.
• Hockey Puck: In his giant form, Goatan wielded a hockey puck as a weapon.

When everything in the Command Center went haywire, Zordon identified the disturbance as Goatan the Lion-Goat. Goatan began to unleash his weather control abilities, creating blizzards, tornadoes, and hurricanes to destroy the world. His initial attacks included using orange energy lines and red eyebeams. During the battle, Goatan managed to bat aside the arrows from Kim’s Power Bow and used his physical strength to wield a huge log as a club. The goat head on his stomach blew a red tornado that enveloped the Rangers, making the fight more challenging.

As the battle intensified, Rita made Goatan grow using her wand, causing it to snow during the Megazord fight. Giant Goatan continued to use his icy wind and physical attacks against the Megazord. Despite his formidable powers, the Rangers managed to destroy giant Goatan with the Megazord’s Power Sword, ending his threat to the Earth.
