Goo Fish

Goo Fish had a fearsome appearance, reminiscent of a deep-sea predator, and wielded a distinctive fish lance. His abilities included:

• Venom Spray: Goo Fish could spray a stream of blue venom from his mouth, which solidified into yellowish glue, immobilizing his targets.
• Voice: His voice sounded remarkably like Lord Zedd’s.
• Explosive Projectiles: He could throw exploding sand dollars, starfish, and fish.
• Energy Beam: In his giant form, Goo Fish could shoot a pulsating red energy beam from his eye.
• Deflection: He was capable of deflecting attacks, such as Kim’s Power Bow arrow, using his lance.

Encounter and Battle

Goo Fish was first encountered in the ocean off Angel Grove Beach, the same location where Jason, Trini, and Zack were scuba diving. His venom had the power to immobilize anyone it touched. Goldar instructed Goo Fish to lure out the Megazord and destroy it with his venom. During the initial encounter, Goo Fish managed to trouble the Rangers significantly. However, he retreated into the ocean when Jason rushed to the scene and shot him with the Blade Blaster. Despite the retreat, Zack described Goo Fish as one of Rita’s worst monsters.

In a later battle, Goo Fish used his venom spray to immobilize the Rangers by gluing their feet to the ground. He also deflected attacks and threw explosive projectiles. During a fight with Blue Ranger, Goo Fish accidentally sprayed himself in the face, causing his face to burn.

Goo Fish grew to a giant size and continued to fight the Rangers. He used his eye beam and other attacks to challenge the Megazord. Ultimately, the Megazord Power Sword was used to destroy the giant Goo Fish.

Subsequent Encounters

Goo Fish was later summoned by Zedd as one of his best aquatic monsters. During this encounter, the White Ranger used Saba to slash each of the aquatic monsters, including Goo Fish. They crackled with white electricity and lay prone until all were defeated, at which point they vanished in white electricity.

Goo Fish was also seen among the Machine Empire’s army on the Phantom Ranger’s home planet.
