Nasty Knight

Appearance and Abilities

Nasty Knight had a menacing appearance, clad in dark armor with gold accents. He carried a sword and shield, both of which were integral to his fighting style. His sword, hammered out by Baboo and Finster on Earth, was said to cut through any material in the universe and contained significant magical powers.

Nasty Knight could shoot flaming energy streaks from his sword, adding a ranged attack to his arsenal. His shield had the ability to reflect energy attacks back at his opponents.

History and Encounters

Rita Repulsa had previously used Nasty Knight on Tarmac 3 to destroy the finest warrior there, who wielded an axe and wore a gray, black, and gold suit. This same knight appeared in a flashback defeating one of Zordon’s soldiers, highlighting Nasty Knight’s long history of combat.

Rita summoned Nasty Knight with a specific incantation: “Moon of ivory, stars of old, candlelight that’s spun of gold… sky of fire, wind of fright, bring to me a Nasty Knight!” Following this, red bolts of lightning transformed the newly-made sword into Nasty Knight’s sword, and then split a tree to reveal Nasty Knight himself.

Battle with the Rangers

Nasty Knight proved to be a tough opponent for the Rangers. During their battle, he used his sword to cover the Rangers’ Power Weapons with a black crust, neutralizing them. He also used his shield to reflect the Rangers’ Tower Formation blast back at them.

When transformed into a giant, Nasty Knight managed to damage the Megazord Power Sword as well. Zack, however, figured out that Nasty Knight was burning out their weapons by reflecting their energy attacks. The Megazord then used this knowledge to reflect Nasty Knight’s energy back at him, combined with a bit of their own. This tactic blasted Nasty Knight’s sword with blue eyebeams and restored the Megazord Power Sword.

Ultimately, the Megazord Power Sword was used to deliver the final blow, destroying the giant Nasty Knight.
