Rhinoblaster 

Rhinoblaster was a large, rhino-like monster with a bulky, muscular build. His body was covered in tough, grey skin resembling a rhinoceros hide, and he had prominent, sharp horns on his head. His face featured menacing red eyes and a large, curved horn protruding from his forehead. Rhinoblaster had large, pointed ears and a set of sharp teeth visible in his open mouth. He also had red, armored plates on his shoulders, elbows, and knees, giving him a formidable and intimidating appearance. His overall look was completed with a pair of large, clawed hands and feet. Zordon described Rhinoblaster as quick on his feet and very clever. He faced off against the Rangers with Putties dressed in football jerseys.

Rhinoblaster could blow a white mist from his nostrils, which warped the Rangers into a purple energy whirlwind, transporting them to a circular dimension. This dimension had mist at its edges and a raised circle in the center, where a purple energy twister kept the Rangers standing. Alpha lost contact with the Rangers once they were warped to Rhinoblaster’s dimension, and they were unable to teleport out.

Alpha discovered that the only way to free the Rangers was for the Green Ranger to throw his Dragon Dagger into the multidimensional mist. If this attempt failed, both the dagger and the Rangers would be lost forever. They hoped the Rangers would be able to reach the dagger. As giant Rhinoblaster blew his mist to trap Tommy, Tommy charged the Dragon Dagger with green energy and threw it into the source of the mist, calling out for Jason to catch it. The Megazord, containing the five Rangers, soon emerged from an energy swirl, after which the Dragon Dagger flew down to Green Ranger.

When he grew to giant size, Rhinoblaster wielded a curved sword and could shoot red energy bolts from it as well as from his horn. During a battle, giant Rhinoblaster attempted to trap Tommy with his mist, but Tommy charged the Dragon Dagger with green energy and threw it into the source of the mist. The Megazord soon emerged from an energy swirl, and the Dragon Dagger returned to Tommy. The Megadragonzord’s Z sphere ultimately destroyed giant Rhinoblaster.

Rhinoblaster reappeared later as one of the monsters hallucinated by the teens due to Zedd’s plan. He was also one of the monsters summoned by the tombstone monster to the haunted forest dimension, where he was kicked by Pink Ranger and did not get back up. Finster recreated Rhinoblaster, describing him as one of the meanest monsters, to capture the Rangers. He fought alongside giant Peckster against the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord, causing serious damage to the Thunder Megazord with his red energy bolt from his sword.

Rhinoblaster was also seen among the aliens, mutated humans, and animal-based monsters in the Onyx Tavern, as well as in the Shadow World’s underground tomb.
