Appearance and Abilities

According to Goldar, Finster had created the monster. The Silkworm had a distinctive, worm-like appearance with a formidable presence. Despite its lack of language abilities, it was highly dangerous and effective in combat. The worm could shoot pink strands of material from its mouth, forming large red cocoons around its targets. These cocoons blocked teleportation and communication but allowed visual sighting via the Viewing Globe.

Encounter and Battle

Initially, Scorpina held the worm in her hand, referring to it as her pet. The worm shot pink strands from its mouth, creating a cocoon that trapped the Rangers. After the giant Babe Ruthless was destroyed, Scorpina unleashed a giant-sized version of her pet worm on the Rangers. The giant worm then encased the Megazord in a cocoon. Despite the Silkworm’s abilities, the Rangers managed to defeat it. The Megadragonzord’s Z sphere was used to disintegrate the giant Silkworm, ending its threat.
