The Turbo Lightning Sword, like the other Turbo Weapons, can be summoned by the Red Turbo Ranger through a spinning motion that causes the weapon to appear with a brief gleam of red light. This method of summoning was first demonstrated when the Turbo Rangers prepared to combat Maligore. Despite its formidable power, Maligore’s resilience highlighted the occasional limitations faced by the Rangers’ weaponry.

In various battles, the Turbo Lightning Sword has been shown to shoot red energy beams from its blade, adding a ranged attack option to its already impressive close-combat capabilities. This feature was particularly useful in battles where additional firepower was required, such as when the Rangers faced giant Porto. Instead of relying solely on energy blasts, the Red Turbo Ranger also used the sword for repeated strikes against enemies, demonstrating its effectiveness in multiple combat scenarios.
