Zordon created five Turbo Morphers for the Power Rangers Turbo. These devices are essential for the Rangers to transform and harness their Turbo powers, enabling them to protect Earth from various threats.

Summoning and Activation

The Turbo Morphers are worn on the left wrist and can be summoned at will. The transformation process begins when a Ranger summons their Turbo Morpher, which replaces the communicator on their wrist. The key to activating the Turbo Morpher is an ignition key that the Rangers insert into the Morpher to initiate the morph sequence. This sequence involves inserting the glowing key into the Turbo Morpher, occasionally turning the key after insertion to activate the transformation.

Initial Presentation

The Turbo Morphers and keys were first introduced after the creation of the Turbozords. The Morphers were displayed on a circular platform divided into five Ranger-colored sections, each containing a Morpher and key. Zordon explained that the keys were similar to Lerigot’s Golden Key and were the main components of the Morphers, with the wrist-mounted devices serving as accessories.

Role in Missions

The Turbo Morphers have played a crucial role in various missions. For instance, when the Rangers had to cross the Nemesis Triangle, they used their keys to merge their powers, ensuring safe passage through the treacherous area. The keys were inserted into a control box on the Ghost Galleon, which prepared the ship for its voyage.

Evolution of Usage

Over time, the use of the Turbo Morphers has evolved. Initially, the Rangers performed arm gestures while holding their keys, inserting them into the Morphers to activate the morph sequence. Later, the process was simplified, with the keys glowing and blending into the light in front of the Ranger to initiate the transformation.
