Jellyfish

Jellyfish was a malevolent monster designed to challenge the Rangers with his toxic abilities and unique dimension-shifting powers.

Jellyfish had a striking appearance, featuring one arm with a hand and another with tentacles. His abilities included:

Red Pulses: He could shoot red pulses from his right hand, which could penetrate the Rangers’ suits and weaken them.
Toxic Spray: Jellyfish had a toxic spray that could eat through the Rangers’ special suits. He shot a white gas-like toxic spray from his tentacle arm, which was capable of melting objects like park benches.
Umbrella Shield: He used an umbrella as a shield and could spin it to warp the Rangers to another dimension.
Teleportation: Jellyfish could dodge attacks by teleporting.
Dimension Shifting: In his alternate dimension, Jellyfish became translucent and untouchable, while still being able to attack the Rangers.

Encounter and Battle

Jellyfish was sent to Earth to fight the Rangers. He initially attacked them using his red pulses and toxic spray, demonstrating his ability to weaken and harm them despite their protective suits. He melted a park bench with his toxic spray. During the battle, Jellyfish used his umbrella to warp the Rangers to an alternate dimension, which he called his home. In this dimension, Jellyfish was translucent and couldn’t be touched, but he could still hit the Rangers. Billy identified that Jellyfish was time-phased and deduced that a blast from Zack’s Power Axe could return them to Earth. The blast worked, weakening Jellyfish’s powers in the process.

Once back on Earth, the Rangers continued their battle against Jellyfish. They summoned the Megazord to combat the giant Jellyfish. Despite his abilities, the Megazord Power Sword ultimately destroyed Jellyfish.

Subsequent Encounters

Jellyfish reappeared as part of Rita and Zedd’s army on a planet in the Vica Galaxy.
