Wind Chaser can combine with the other Turbo Zords to form the Turbo Megazord’s arms. Wind Chaser is mostly white with a single pink stripe on either side. It bears the number five. When in Zord size, Wind Chaser splits in half to form the arms of the Turbo Megazord.

Stealth and Detection

Like the other Turbo Zords, Wind Chaser is invisible to most forms of radar, including the Subcraft’s sensors used by Divatox. This feature allows it to operate undetected during missions, providing a tactical advantage.

Key Features and Functions

  • Combination and Transformation: Wind Chaser splits in half to form the arms of the Turbo Megazord.
  • Cockpit Controls: Kat activated Wind Chaser’s split mode by pushing a red button in her cockpit, enabling it to dodge incoming vehicles.
  • Safety Features: Wind Chaser is equipped with an airbag that inflates during rough docking maneuvers.

Initial Appearance and Creation

The Turbo Zords, including Wind Chaser, were created by Zordon and Alpha 5. During their creation, the Viewing Screen in the Power Chamber displayed outlines of the Turbo Zords, which then appeared in a smoke-filled room elsewhere in the Power Chamber. Zordon mentioned that the Turbo Zords would possess the power and velocity of Turbo technology, enabling the Rangers to undertake their quest through the Nemesis Triangle.

Usage in Combat

Wind Chaser has been involved in numerous battles, forming the arms of the Turbo Megazord during combat. One notable incident involved Kat pushing a red button in her cockpit to activate Wind Chaser’s split mode, enabling it to dodge an incoming evil vehicle. Another instance saw Wind Chaser’s airbag deploying when Kat docked the Zord with Mountain Blaster.

During a battle with Giant Count Nocturn, the Turbo Megazord’s hands (formed by Wind Chaser) were damaged by Nocturn’s drill. Despite this, the Turbozords appeared undamaged in subsequent appearances, though the Turbo Megazord’s power was significantly drained.
